Air-Dry Clay & Pottery Program 2026

Our Air-Dry Clay & Pottery Program is a creative, hands-on experience where children discover the joy of sculpting and working with clay in a warm, supportive studio environment. This 5-session course, designed for ages 6 and up, introduces students to air-dry clay and basic hand-building techniques through fun, step-by-step projects. Children explore both artistic expression and functional art while building confidence, fine motor skills, and proudly completing finished pieces they can take home.

Course Schedule

Air-Dry Clay – Cups & Plates (5 sessions) — ages 6+

Create your own functional art! Over 5 sessions, students will sculpt and design unique mugs and small plates using air-dry clay. Perfect for beginners (ages 6+) who want to learn hand-building basics while making everyday items they can proudly use or gift.

Air-Dry Clay – Candle Holders & Decorative Stands (5 sessions) — ages 6+

A cozy and creative course where students (ages 6+) design beautiful candle holders and mini stands. Across 5 sessions, they’ll learn structure, texture, and finishing techniques while creating stylish décor pieces.

Air-Dry Clay – Clay Vases & Home Accessories (5 sessions) — ages 8+

During this 5-session course, students (ages 8+) learn to build taller shapes such as small vases, flower holders, or decorative containers. Ideal for young artists who want to improve construction technique and create eye-catching home accents.

Air-Dry Clay – Mini Figurines & Characters (5 sessions) — ages 6+

A fun and imaginative course for young artists (ages 6+)! Throughout 5 sessions, students sculpt miniature animals, characters, or fantasy creatures, exploring details and expression to bring their creations to life.

Air-Dry Clay – Interior Decorations: Wall Panels & Frame Art (5 sessions) — ages 10+

Over 5 sessions, students (ages 10+) design custom wall elements such as textured panels or decorative photo frames. They learn composition and surface design while creating professional-looking art pieces ready for display.

Air-Dry Clay – Mini Plant Pots & Hanging Ornaments (5 sessions) — ages 6+

A playful course for creative minds (ages 6+)! In 5 sessions, students will sculpt small plant pots or hanging ornaments, learning form and decoration while making charming nature-inspired accessories.

Plastilina Clay – Sculpting a Bust (5 sessions) — ages 13+

Bring character to life! Over 5 sessions, students (ages 13+) will learn how to sculpt a human bust—from building basic form and proportions to refining facial features and realistic finishing. Ideal for those ready to explore more advanced sculpting techniques and create a gallery-worthy art piece.

Pottery Wheel – Clay Dishware (5 sessions) — ages 13+

Experience the art of traditional pottery! Over 5 sessions, students (ages 13+) will learn how to shape clay on a pottery wheel, creating functional dishware such as bowls, mugs, or small plates. They’ll master wheel-throwing basics, refine form and symmetry, and finish their pieces for firing in our kiln. Perfect for those ready to explore professional ceramic techniques and craft durable, high-quality pottery.
